My role at Francis Consulting.......
I’m
the Managing Director and also head up our Consulting Services arm. I
help clients grow their businesses, ‘bottom-line’ and satisfaction from
being in business. So I work with CEO’s, start-ups, Boards and
individuals on strategy, decision-making, financial analysis, structure
and more.
I’ve worked at Francis Consulting since.......
December 2002.

If I wasn't here I'd be.......
Living in a villa in Umbria, reading books, sipping wine and going on Grand Tours
Richard has been a CA since 1995 and has worked with some of New Zealand’s fastest growing,
smartest businesses. He has created and launched a successful software
business – Spotlight Reporting – selling performance and forecasting
software to other professional practices and end-users around
the world. Richard assists various Boards, is a member of the
Institute of Directors, the Sustainable Business Network and is a
registered mentor with NZTE.

ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR

My role at Francis Consulting.......
I
am the Director responsible for the day to day operation of Francis
Consulting. We aim to use a combination of leading technology and
personal service to take the pain out of financial statement and tax
return preparation. We don’t just action your compliance, we look for
areas of opportunity for you personally or your business to legitimately
minimise tax and grow your profits.

Why is Francis Consulting different.......
We
are a small firm and we make the time to get to know our clients well.
In turn this means we can help clients on their journey (whatever the
size) and can make a difference. I love the SME market as you work with
business owners who have the ability to make decisions and act on them
in real time!
When I was younger I wanted to be.......
An accountant but was told I would make a good lawyer.

With my two beautiful children!

Spending the NZ Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, somewhere warm.
Why me?.......
I will listen to you! How annoying is it when you get told what you
need before you have had a chance to explain your situation and what you
are looking for? We listen first, and make suggestions second.
Julie
has a BCA from Victoria University and gained her CA in 2001, and her
Certificate of Public Practice in 2008. One of Julie’s strengths is
system set-up and improvement – helping you to establish good systems
from the outset and also assisting with Xero set-ups or conversions.
Francis Consulting attracts clients who recognise the benefit in
investing in correct system set-up and training. Francis Consulting
also believes it is important to empower clients so that they can do
certain things in-house but also know that they have friendly ‘Trusted
Advisors’ at hand to help with matters big or small.
